Support the McIff's Family in Their Time of Loss

This last Saturday, a friend to many, including me, lost her husband to a sudden illness. It was unexpected and the loss of Jay will be felt keenly by Martha and her children, Cassie and Jesse. Their loss will impact the community of which Martha is a supportive and felt support. Martha is someone who has been consistently strong, supportive, and just there for others as they struggle with their own difficulties. An advocate and supporter for those who had autistic family members (something she understands very well) or were part of that community, her voice is one that is synonymous with caring, understanding, and frank advice. She is a great purveyor of wisdom especially in the halls of Spectrum Academy, her second home.

Now, her voice is missed as she is at home with her family mourning the loss of husband and father, Jay. Many of us, myself included, knew Jay through Martha and his absence will be felt.

Now maybe we can help this amazing family as they start to move forward and cover some of those incidental expenses that inevitably come when losing a loved one unexpectedly.
