Emergency: help Eman survive and study medicine
Donation protected
Hi there, I am Husain Aljazzar, from Gaza and live in Germany. My cousin Eman Aljazzar, from Gaza, asked me to help her to get out of Gaza with her family and to complete here medical study in Egypt. Let Eman tell her story.

Hello world! My name is Eman, which means faith, a quality I've held onto tightly throughout our journey. My family and I were going about our normal daily routine until the war in Gaza Strip erupted, bringing our lives to a halt. I couldn't attend my classes at medical college, and my younger siblings were unable to go to school.
Just two days into the war, we were forced to evacuate our home under the threat of Israeli airstrikes, leaving behind everything we held dear. With only our beating hearts to guide us, we sought refuge in my aunt’s house in another area. Devastatingly, we learned through the news that our beloved home had been destroyed. The greatest blow came with the loss of my father, who had been battling pancreatic cancer. Due to the lack of proper care he passed away, leaving our family shattered.
We have been displaced multiple times since then, narrowly escaping death with each move. Instead of counting stars, we now count rockets as we sleep, and rubble has replaced flowers in our daily walks. We face death, hunger, dehydration, illness, coldness and despair everyday.
I am a fourth-year medical student with dreams of becoming a doctor, a dream that my father cherished and supported wholeheartedly. Despite the destruction of the university and college by bombs, I refuse to succumb to despair. For the past two months, I have been volunteering at Alnajjar Hospital's Emergency Department stitching wounds and saving lives, offering hope and healing to others affected by the brutality of war. It's not just a career, it's a calling, a chance to make a tangible difference in people's lives. As I lost my father my backbone who first encouraged me and stand by me this cemented my desire to pursue this path further and to make him proud. Your support will fuel my journey, allowing me to continue my medical education and achieve more successes
Now, I stand before you, not just seeking our survival through this mad genocide, but the chance to fulfill my father's hope and my own: to become a doctor. With your support, I can rebuild my life and continue my medical studies. Every donation, no matter how small, will be a step closer to achieving this dream. Together, we can defy the scars of war and build a future filled with compassion and healing.
Our Goals
As noted above, we have two main goals: the first is to complete my medical education, the second as I would love to help my family through this tough time and try to rebuild our home in Gaza.
Here are the costs for both stated goals:
- Rafah crossing permits: $5,000 x 4 people ($20,000)
- Education fees: $10,000 for one medical year
- Shelter, resettling, clothes, healthcare, etc.: $5,000
- GoFundMe transaction fees: Approximately $2,000 (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction)
- Total goal: $ 40,000
Please, consider contributing to my GoFundMe campaign and help me turn this tragedy into a triumph of resilience. By supporting my education, you'll be investing not just in my future, but in the future of countless lives I will touch as a doctor.
Together, we can rise from the ashes and build a brighter tomorrow.
