Help First African American Conquer Grand Slam

Hey there! I'm Manika, gearing up to be the first African American to conquer what is known to be one of the hardest ultra marathon series in the world! All 5 deserts in the Racing the Planet series. I have successfully completed  Namiba and Gobi. I have Jordan, Antarctica, and Atacama still ahead of me. These 155-mile, 7 day, self supported stage races – present an awe inspiring challenge that I aspire to motivate, challenge, and show that all things are possible!

This historic athletic endeavor comes at a hefty cost, blocking many from participating. Including myself without community support. Your support will help help cover  race entry fees, travel expenses, accommodations costs, mandatory gear, and nutrition.

As I have now completed 2 of the 5 deserts I’m looking onward to the next 3, 2 of which are this year. Jordan and Antartica (which carries the most expense at $14,200 just to enter) that’s not including the mass amount of other mandatory items to survive the race. 

I do not want to allow funds to be the barrier that keeps people such as myself from going after massive goals! I am looking for support so we together can break barriers, show the power of the community, and reach new heights!
