EMBER: A Howard University Thesis Film

Donation protected
Hello Everyone!

My name is Hunter Holliday and I am a graduating senior TV & Film major at Howard University. My producers and I are currently working to create a short film for our Thesis class written and directed by me, called EMBER - a drama about a homeless man who sees his daughter for the first time in years and he has to face his painful past if he ever wants her in his life again.

We want to tell a story that emphasizes the war on homelessness and can help viewers relate to the difficulties of hitting rock bottom and the triumph that comes with rising out of it. The whole reason I started filmmaking was to inspire others just like how I was once inspired and this film is one step closer to my dream. It's our priority to tackle this issue with respect and authenticity.

We also want to make sure that our cast and crew can get the proper care they need.

Funding will be used for:
  • Camera Gear & Production Equipment
  • Location & Transportation
  • Feeding Our Crew
  • Production Insurance
  • Film Festival Expenses

100% percent of money fundraised will go towards costs associated with the production of this film.

Thank you! Any contribution helps, even if it's only a share!
