In the heart of Canada, a vibrant community thrives, united by a shared journey of courage, resilience, and identity. We are a Collective of LGBTQI+ people from Arabic speaking regions who are residing in Canada, a beacon of hope and acceptance for individuals from Arabic-speaking regions who have found a new home in the Canada.
Our collective is more than just a group; it's a lifeline for those navigating the intersection of LGBTQI+ identity, cultural heritage and migration. Through our diverse array of activities and events, we provide a safe and inclusive space where individuals can explore, celebrate, and express their true selves without fear or judgment.
But our mission extends beyond our own community. We are committed to fostering understanding, building bridges, and promoting acceptance across all cultural boundaries. Taking into consideration that we are a non-funded grass-root collective led by LGBTQI+ refugees, your support is crucial in helping us achieve these goals. With your generous contributions, we can:
- Wellness programming: Is about community and connection. Through group gathering and seasonal activities, our members have the chance to forge new friendships and deepen existing bonds, break isolation and celebrate the diversity and resilience of our community.
- Expand our cultural programming: From film screenings to artistic activities, your donations will enable us showcase the rich and diverse tapestry of culture and heritage of the Arabic speaking regions, fostering dialogue and understanding within our community and beyond.
