The Coat Project for Peruvian Kids

Donation protected
This June 18-25, 2024, a dedicated group of 10 adventurous souls, including myself, will embark on a journey to the highlands of Peru. Among us, 5 are coworkers, and the other 6 are friends from all over the globe, joining together for a common cause. Our mission? To provide 1000 brand new coats to underprivileged children, offering them a shield against the biting cold of the Andean winter.

In June, one of the coldest months in the Peruvian Andes, as temperatures plummet, these coats become more than just clothing—they become a lifeline. For many of these children, the gift of a coat is not just a luxury but a necessity for their well-being and health.

We are thrilled to share that we have identified three school systems that will be part of our coat distributions, ensuring that these essential garments reach those who need them most.

Would you consider joining us in this noble endeavor by supporting our cause with a donation of $20 per coat? Your generosity will directly impact the lives of these young ones, providing them with warmth, comfort, and the feeling that they are not forgotten.

Over the past five years, our team has been privileged to distribute over 6000 coats to remote and underprivileged areas of the Peruvian Andes. Each coat represents not only warmth but also hope—a tangible reminder that kindness knows no bounds.

By supporting us, you become part of a movement that transcends borders and cultures—a movement driven by compassion and a shared humanity. Together, we can make a difference, one coat at a time. 100% of your donation is used to buy coats locally in the city of Cusco from vendors in the streets. Each one of the travelers is covering their own expenses and sponsoring coats; there is no overhead cost attached to this endeavor as everyone in the team is a fully functional professional willing to give and encourage.

Thank you for considering our cause.

Warm regards,

John Michael
