Embracing the Challenge: Life After Amputation

We are reaching out to you during a challenging time for our friend, Maurice (Moe) Rock, and his family. Recently, Moe faced a devastating medical crisis that has resulted in the necessary amputation of his left leg below the knee (a below-knee amputation). As they navigate this life-altering situation, the emotional and financial burdens are becoming overwhelming, and they need our help. Some of the upcoming unexpected expenses being; Wheel chair accessible renovations, recovery and bills with no monthly income at this time.

Moe's wife, Kristin, has been unable to work due to a serious car accident years ago, leaving the family reliant on a single income to support their two children. In a time when the family's focus needs to be elsewhere, things are likely to become increasingly challenging.

Moe’s surgery changed to above the knee amputation. He just came out of surgery and he is on the road to recovery, it will be a long journey but we are all happy we are moving forward.
