Emergency Appeal: Help Save My Children's
Donation protected
Dear friends,
My name is Habib, and I am a father of four children: Menna (12), Adam (10, living with quadriplegia), Maria (6), and Ezz (1). My family and I have endured many hardships here in Gaza, surviving past wars, but this current conflict is unlike anything we’ve ever faced. It’s not just a war—it feels like a war of annihilation.
Our home in Khan Yunis has been destroyed, forcing us to flee to Deir al-Balah. Now, we live in a makeshift tent on the streets, struggling with basic needs like clean water, food, and medical supplies. My livelihood, once secured by a small business that supported us, has been completely wiped out.
The toughest challenge is ensuring proper care for my son Adam, who needs special attention due to his condition. Living in these dire circumstances, I’m heartbroken to see my children suffer. My youngest, Ezz, hasn’t had proper nutrition or a safe environment to grow in. We feel trapped in a situation where survival is an everyday battle.
We’ve started a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe in a desperate attempt to leave Gaza through the Rafah border to Egypt, where we can hopefully find safety and stability. The costs of this journey are staggering—$5,000 to $7,000 per adult and $2,500 to $4,000 per child just to cross the border. The funds we raise will go toward these fees and travel expenses for our family.
If you can, please donate and help us escape this war zone. Even if you’re unable to donate, sharing our campaign with your network can make a huge difference. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and support.
Thank you for standing with us during these critical times.
With gratitude,
Habib and Family
