Donation protected
Hi, my name is Andi and I am a healthcare worker in the United States. I am starting this fundraiser for my dear friend FADI SALAH ID Naim, a nurse in Gaza, Palestine
The money collected here will go directly towards helping he and his family survive this ongoing genocide which has been happening for over 13 months or 404 days.
All donations will go directly to Fadi through his bank account, MoneyGram, Western Union, in order to purchase and provide basic needs such as food, water, blankets, clothes, necessary medications for Abdulrahman and his parents who are chronically ill, also to help the 20 family members and the rest of the families in the camp, and to rebuild his future abd his health Care center that destroyed on this war
Fadi's family affected by the crises of war . they are survivors f the genocide. until this moment Fadi and his family lives there now, and his bank account will receive donations in order to rebuild his future, his life and his only source of income before the war, which was completely destroyed in Gaza, and to buy medicine and perform surgery for his brother Abdul Rahman.
As you know, Fadi devoted all his free time to his work as a nurse. This campaign is the cornerstone and the main artery for Fadi and his family, as they fight against time.
As a result of the war on Gaza and the genocide that was committed there, which began on October 7, 2023, Fadi lost many of his friends and relatives, his home was completely destroyed, and he lost all his wealth and savings.
This is the second time that his home has been bombed and destroyed over the years, and now he does not know how he will live in a tent with his 20 family members. And other families in the camp where he lives and the orphans he takes care of .
Don't hesitate to say hello. This is his personal Instagram account (fadynaim95) where he shares his daily life, routine, suffering during the day and his life in the tents. Follow him and support him with a kind and encouraging word.
Listen to Fadi
Hello, my name is Fadi Naim and I live in the Gaza Strip. I am grateful to you for coming here and listening to my story. Before the war, my family and I were living a normal life. You know that those who live in the Gaza Strip must be patient and endure all circumstances. We were able to live and manage our affairs. I used to work in my own healthcare center, where I provided services and healthcare to patients who were unable to go to public healthcare centers such as hospitals and clinics. I worked throughout the week and had a full team of nurses and doctors. I was very happy in my work, as I felt the extent of my accomplishment and service as a nurse to people with special disabilities and patients who were unable to walk long distances. Now, unfortunately, my healthcare center and my dreams have turned to ashes, and nothing remains of it, as it was completely destroyed. I have to work again to rebuild it. Our life before the war was not luxurious, but it was safe and somewhat stable until October 7th. This is the day our lives changed completely, and I wouldn’t be wrong if I told you that they stopped since that day. At first, my family and I were displaced on the first day of the war, along with my brother, Abdul Rahman, who suffers from heart valve problems and mt two parents also who is suffering from chronic diseases. Abdelrahman recently had open heart surgery about a month before the war and will have another one if the money is available. We were very keen to provide him with the healthcare he so desperately needed, and now he is suffering from a lack of care due to the health sector in Gaza, which has been severely damaged and has become almost non-existent due to the targeting of health facilities such as hospitals and clinics. We did not leave our house except with a small bag containing some belongings that were barely enough for two days.We have 20 family members most of them are kids. We were displaced at the beginning of the war from the first day and slept in the street for two days without food, clothes or blankets and the children were crying terrifying from the sound of bombing. The next morning they bombed the houses near the street where we were sleeping, we were very scared and dying and the children were about to die from the severity of the situation as we saw a massacres ,women and children killed and injured everywhere. The bombing continued for hours until the Red Cross International Committee came and transferred us from the danger zone. During this period I was forced to stay away from my family due to the nature of my work as a nurse in the hospital and they had to move from one place to another. I was away from them for three months and during this period my family suffered a lot due to the lack of resources and their low income. During this period, they besieged the hospital. We were carrying our lives in our hands. At that time, I did not know anything about my family because there was no communications or internet. I lived a nightmare in my life during that period, as I was working in the hospital for 24 hours, and at the same time I was very worried about my family and children, to the point that I was working in the emergency room. I was checking on the dead and the martyrs to find out if any of my family members were among them. After that, we were informed to evacuate to Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, under the name of ( safe area). I searched for my family everywhere in Rafah until I finally found them and after a month. They were in a deplorable state. Although it was a safe area, they were throwing tons of explosives at it. Members of my family were injured because we live in tents made of very thin and worn-out fabric. In addition to the lack of basic life needs, such as food, clothing, and clean water, we drank contaminated water for a long time, and we still do because there are no alternatives. Our children are constantly suffering from malnutrition and diseases. I will attach some pictures of children who are sick with serious skin diseases that have no cure, as Their weight is halved, the temperature in the tent reaches 40 degrees Celsius in the summer and winter that we are in now, we cannot sleep because of the severe cold in the tent and there are no blankets or winter clothes to protect us from the cold, in addition to the flies that do not leave us all day and the most dangerous the sound of jets and bombs, the psychological pressure and fear of the unknown and the future. I hope you look into the eyes of our young children and see what they are saying and what they are carrying in their hearts. I will attach some pictures that show you the extent of the tragedy. The daily suffering here is deadly and is getting worse day after day. We have reached the stage of exhaustion and deadly fatigue and we are counting the minutes as if they are years passing by. Now we are living in a period of great famine where there is no flour to eat and no healthy food. We have even been deprived of canned food despite the accumulation of humanitarian aid on the other side of the crossing, but it is useless because it is closed. Also, the condition of my brother Abdul Rahman and his health condition constitutes great pressure on me and my family in terms of how to provide treatment for him, especially since it cannot be provided and its price is high due to the closure of the crossings, as well as the health care required for him. I appeal to all of you, each by name and title, to look at me and my family with compassion and to stand with me in my ordeal and bad times. I am currently taking care of about 20 people from my family and orphaned children and families of the camp in which I live. Everything we have worked to build over the years has been completely lost. All our beautiful moments have been completely destroyed, and now we must build them again, and to start that, I am full of hope, optimism and faith in you.
I love you ❤️
