EMERGENCY CAPITAL CAMPAIGN: Desire Child Care Safe Haven
Donation protected
With the funds raised through this emergency capital campaign, Desire Child Care Organization will purchase farmland to build on, to provide a safe home for underserved children, from early childhood to adulthood. Each acre of land will cost about $11,000US. We are hoping for 4 acres total, for farming and living, including a fresh water well.
Through agriculture, we will be able to achieve full self-sufficiency as a legally registered indigenous nonprofit organization (NGO), and build a year-round residential school, providing our current and future Desire Kids with a well-rounded, independent arts-based education in the heart of nature.
Every child deserves a loving, clean, and safe foundation to build their lives upon. They are the future of Uganda, of Africa, and of the world. Please help us make this dream a reality.
We have already begun designing our beautiful Desire home for compromised and vulnerable children. We have already created a vision of how our compound might look:
