The following is Abeers story in her own words :

Hello, I'm Abeer Mousa, a 24-year-old Chemical engineer, resident of Gaza City, Palestine.

I used to own a small business specializing in designing and tailoring women's clothing. I had a car and a beautiful home. My husband and I, along with our children, Renad 4 years old and Rakan one year old , lived a happy life before the war began in Gaza. But the war brought destruction and devastation. The occupation destroyed everything: our beautiful home, my beloved business that meant so much to me, and the car I relied on to deliver my products. All that's left for us now are ruins and shattered memories.

Now, married with two children, we find ourselves in an undesirable situation. We no longer have any means to stay in Gaza, nor does it hold a promising future for us.

I am reaching out to you to help me start anew, outside the Gaza Strip. I want a chance to rebuild my life with my little angels in a safe place where I can regain my strength and live with dignity. I am requesting your assistance in securing the costs of leaving Gaza, including expenses for crossing the border and basic transition expenses. This step is the beginning of a better future for me and my family.

I know the world is filled with compassionate hearts who wish to help others. I hope you will be among them, and be part of this story filled with hope and optimism.

As I navigate through this tumultuous time, I find myself in dire need of financial assistance to cover the costs of crossing the border, as well as accommodation and living expenses in the initial period after leaving Gaza. With my resources depleted and my family's future hanging in the balance, every contribution towards these expenses is a beacon of hope in our journey towards safety and stability
