Emergency colic surgery for Dewy

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am trying to help raise money for my friend Angela Rasmussen. In the early morning hours of Oct. 26th, 2022 her heart horse Dewy started showing signs of colic. He was taken to the University of Minnesota for emergency surgery. After he arrived and was assessed, he had to have gas removed off of him before given anesthesia. Once in surgery it was found that he not only had an impaction colic, but also a colon twist. Dewy made it through his surgery and will spend another 5 to 7 days in the care of the equine hospital before he can travel home and spend another 30 days on stall rest. Angela was quoted between $7,000 and $12,000 for Dewy's surgery and aftercare. I am asking anyone and everyone to please help by donating to these expenses.
