Emergency C-Section for Daytona!
Donation protected
Daytona arrived at RPC this Sunday 3/10 as a stray cat who wasn't in great health. She was very visibly pregnant upon arrival but we were unsure on when to expect the kittens arrival. Daytona went into labor and was unable to have the kittens on her own, therefor requiring us to get her immediate medical help. She was brought to one of our local vet hospitals and underwent an emergency C-Section to remove the kittens. All but one kitten had sadly already passed away. The one remaining kitten has been named Bristol and is continuing to beat all odds. Little Bristol and Daytona will be going into a foster home for one on one care as they continue to recover.
RPC was not expecting this emergency cost and it has impacted our small medical fund immensely. All donations will go directly towards paying her vet bill and any continued care her and Bristol require. We are thankful for all donations to help us recoup the cost from baby Bristol and Daytona.
