Emergency Disaster Fund for The Dorseys

On Saturday August 5, Kris, Ryan and Emma Dorsey had 10 minutes to gather belongings as they watched their next-door neighbor’s house be swept into the Mendenhall River. They live in the bottom corner unit of the condos next-door and their house teetering, foundation washed away. In addition to the trauma of watching and waiting for news, knowing they cannot go into their home, they just learned that their insurance will not cover this catastrophic event. Kris didn’t even get her toothbrush on the way out.
