Emergency :"Evacuate Sohad's Family out of Gaza"

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted souls,
I am Huda, reaching out with a heartfelt plea. My beloved aunt Sohad and her family are facing dire challenges amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza. They were forced to flee their home due to relentless bombings and are now crowded into a small room with no access to water, struggling to meet their basic needs.

Sohad urgently needs gluten-free food to manage her celiac disease, but it's nearly impossible to find amid the chaos. Her health is rapidly deteriorating. Her husband, Omar, also lacks proper medication for his blood pressure and diabetes.

Their son, Mohammed, is struggling to provide for his family—three young children aged 7, 5, and 2—under dire conditions. The lack of food, poor living conditions, and constant bombings have severely disrupted the children's sleep and well-being. Mohammed also urgently needs ear surgery, which was postponed due to the war, leading to a severe infection and significant loss of concentration.

Adding to the family's woes, the youngest child and a fourth-year dentistry student, had to abandon his studies due to the war. His university, along with the vital equipment for his studies, has been destroyed, leaving him without a path forward.

The family's clothing business, once their livelihood, has been destroyed by the conflict, leaving them without means to sustain themselves.

Why do we need your help? The family urgently needs funds to evacuate to Egypt, the nearest border to Gaza, where they hope to find safety and start anew. The financial breakdown includes:

$50,000 for evacuation costs
$10,000 for three months of rent and basic living expenses
$10,000 for medical needs, including Mohammed's surgery and therapy for the children's mental health
$1,600 for GoFundMe fees
$8,400 to rebuild their clothing business
Recently, my family and I fled our home in Khan Younis due to imminent bombing. Days later, the area was targeted, leaving it in ruins. Seeing a photo of what was once our home reduced to rubble underscored the harsh realities and ongoing hardships faced by countless families in conflict-stricken regions like ours.
I implore you to join me in providing a lifeline to Sohad and her family. Your generous contributions will secure essential food, medical assistance, and support for Mohammed's education, as well as facilitate their evacuation and help them rebuild their lives. Together, we can bring hope to a family enduring the darkest of times.

After enduring 173 days of war, I resolved to take action. Amidst 150 days of relentless attacks, I volunteered at a local hospital. The situation was dire, with depleted medical resources and scarce medications. Despite these challenges, I remained committed to alleviating suffering and providing aid to those in need.
In the hospital, despite severe shortages of medical supplies, I remained committed to providing comfort and care to patients affected by ongoing conflict. My decision to volunteer was driven by duty and compassion, despite the risks involved.

In my neighborhood, the initial days of the war brought devastating bombings that escalated over time. Homes were reduced to rubble, and lives shattered by relentless violence. The community, once vibrant, became uninhabitable and devoid of safety or security.

Despite the challenges, I remained resolute in making a positive impact, offering comfort and support to those affected by war. In adversity, I found strength in the belief that acts of kindness can bring hope and healing.

Amidst the war's turmoil, my cherished cat, with me for over 6 months, tragically succumbed to hunger in Gaza. Despite my efforts, resources were scarce amid the conflict. This loss underscores the toll of war on both human and animal lives.

This picture shows one of the millions of rockets that were fired at the Alremal area by the Israeli military on July 12, causing significant damage and affecting the lives of many residents in the region. The image also captures people trying to escape and evacuate the area amidst the chaos.

Please stand in compassion with sohad and her family. No matter how big or small your donation is .I will be appreciated and bring us closer in relief of sohad’s family pain and suffering from this war . Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to alleviating their suffering.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
