Emergency Expenses for Lucy and Lanie

On Sunday, June 12th, our friends Lucy Moore and Lanie Zipoy were struck in a car accident in Memphis. This accident claimed the life of Lucy Moore and her beloved dog. Lanie succumbed to her injuries on June 25th. 

Many have asked for ways they can help, and so we hope to defray some of the unforeseen costs this accident has caused Lanie and Lucy's family.  We do not yet have a complete picture of the scope of the costs, but we will update this page regularly as more information comes in.
 
These expenses will include (but are not limited to):
 
Funeral expenses for Lucy Moore and Lanie Zipoy
Bereavement leave and travel expenses for Lucy's daughter and Lanie's sister Kat Moore and the Moore family

All funds will be distributed directly to Kat Moore. 

It is impossible to put into words the ways in which Lucy and Lanie have touched our lives.  There are no 2 people we’d rather have on our side than Lanie and Lucy. No people more acutely empathic and more equipped to act on their empathy. No better friends. 

This GoFundMe is an initiative by a group of Lanie's friends and loved ones to help repay some of the boundless generosity of spirit and support we have received by knowing her.
