EMERGENCY EYE SURGERY FOR TRISTAN (HOWIE) MCNEAL

Update 11/8:

Hi everyone. Tristan’s surgery went well and his retina is reattached. During all this though his “good” eye has been failing and has been having treatments to help prevent and prolong another surgery. Healing has been slower than expect and he is still out of work and unable to drive. Kelsey is working hard to keep things moving for them since he has not been back to work yet and not sure if or when he will get to go back. Any help this time of year is greatly appreciated.

Hi Everyone, We created this page for my son Tristan's emergency eye surgery. He is currently experiencing negative effects of diabetic retinopathy and is losing his vision in his left eye. He is needing immediate surgery which would put him into recovery time of 6-8 weeks. Two of those weeks he will have to lay face down for 20 hours a day. He needs this surgery in an attempt to preserve his vision. He has been undergoing Lazer and eye injections in both eyes. His dominant eye is taking a turn and he is unable to see much out of either eye. With that being said, he will be out of work with no income coming in because he has no short term disability and could use any help he could get to support and take care of his family and household. Anyone that knows Tristan knows that he would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. We would greatly appreciate any and all help that could be given.
