Help Becky and Joshua in a dire situation

Who this will help

Becky (Chamberlin) Barton has been a dear friend of mine since the first grade. Becky and her husband Joshua really need our help.

Why I'm fundraising

Becky has suffered a lot in the past few years, going through both career hardships as well as personal and family tragedies. She lost her brother just a few months ago.

During these difficult times, she met and married Joshua. Joshua has been her shelter and support, and they are now expecting a baby.

Tragically, just days before Christmas, Joshua suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleed in the brain) while at church choir practice.

He is now in ICU, and the future remains unknown, but he likely has months of recovery time ahead. While we are trusting God for a miraculous recovery, Joshua has no short term disability through his work and no income now for the bills. Becky lost her business during Covid and has been unable to work.

The impact of your support.

Your donation will go directly towards monthly expenses for the next 4 months while Joshua is unable to work ($10,000), as well as $10,000 toward hospital bills. I know money is tight for a lot of people right now, but every $20 lightens their burden that much more!

Please pray for Joshua’s recovery, for Becky as she is pregnant in this stressful time, and for the health of their baby.
