Emergency fund for dear friend in Ukraine

I am raising funds on behalf of a friend in Ukraine due to the worsening situation there.

The country is going into a state of emergency which means she has lost her job working in the cultural industry.

Ongoing events are already leading to the country’s economic crisis, which includes increase of prices, unemployment and the dramatic decrease of any opportunities. There is no social benefits for those loosing their jobs at this time.

It is said the state of emergency will last for 30 days at least however it is highly likely to be much longer. She needs some money both to survive the next 30 days; and also to save for leaving the country or moving to a safer part of it if the time comes.

She wants to be kept anonymous due to the climate in Kiev being very sensitive and she doesn’t want her peers to know she is thinking of leaving the country.

-update, the invasion started at 5 am this morning, our friend is currently working to find a way out. Due to the crash of banks we using the money to book tickets on her behalf and will be sending her the money once she has reached the boarder.
