Urgent Call for Support: Help Lebanon’s Frontline Responders

Lebanon is in crisis. Again we update our standing GoFundMe campaign to address the current need. Today, Amel Association International’s frontline teams are working tirelessly to support the victims of the devastating blasts and the most vulnerable populations already suffering from a severe health and socio-economic emergency.

As the situation worsens, Amel urgently calls on partners, friends, and supporters to help us meet the growing humanitarian needs. Led by our founder, Dr. Kamel Mohanna, and backed by 1,500 volunteers, Amel is at the forefront, providing critical services to those affected by escalating violence and ongoing crises.

Lebanon’s Crisis: A Call to Action

Lebanon is enduring severe attacks, leaving thousands injured and hundreds in critical condition. Families are fleeing conflict zones, overwhelming already vulnerable communities. This latest disaster compounds the aftereffects of the Beirut Port explosion, disease outbreaks, and severe economic collapse.

On September 17, 2024, Amel declared a state of emergency across all its centers. With over 44 years of crisis response experience, we are rapidly deploying life-saving aid.

Your Support is Critical

To maintain our emergency efforts, we urgently need at least $250,000 per month. We aim to raise $1,000,000 to provide critical aid to those most affected. Your contributions will directly support children, older adults, pregnant women, and displaced families.

Here’s How You Can Help:

- $5: Provides one health consultation.
- $34: Covers a dignity kit for menstrual hygiene.
- $36: Funds a family’s hygiene kit for a month.
- $80: Provides psycho-social support for a child for one month.
- $300: Covers basic food assistance for a family for one month.
- $5,000: Provides multi-sectoral shelter support for 50 families for a month.

Your support can help restore dignity and hope to the people of Lebanon.

Immediate Needs:
In addition to monetary donations, we are urgently seeking:
- Food assistance
- First aid supplies
- Medications and health support
- Non-food items for displaced families
- Materials to rehabilitate damaged areas
