Emergency Fund: Supporting Joe's Cancer Battle

We are reaching out to you on behalf of some of our closest friends, Joe McEachran and Alison. Joe is fighting for his life with a very sudden diagnosis of Sarcoma. As many of you may know, Joe and Alison were eagerly preparing to tie the knot on August 5th, but they had to postpone the wedding only 10 days before the big day due to this devastating diagnosis and need your help with the finances so that they can focus on the most important thing right now… saving Joe’s life.

About Joe and Alison:

Joe and Alison are soul mates who share a deep love for each other (along with their two dogs Kiba and Astro). Tragically, Joe lost his brother very suddenly in an accident less than a year ago, adding to the emotional burden they are facing. Joe had taken over the Barbershop for his brother after his passing, and has been working hard to try and keep it afloat amongst the piling up of bills and expenses tied to the shop. They now find themselves in the midst of a medical journey that requires intense treatments and specialized care, on top of the ongoing Barbershop bills and the financial hit from postponing the wedding.

The Financial Struggle:

The fight against Sarcoma has brought upon them not only emotional strain but also a significant financial burden. Joe needs to undergo radiation and chemotherapy, and they need to stay in the very expensive city of Los Angeles to consult with the best Sarcoma specialists (there is one of the top specialists at UCLA and we need to make sure Joe is getting the best care!). Their basic insurance doesn't cover all the necessary treatments, and they need your support to access the medical care he urgently needs and help to live in a hotel close to the center to make sure he is available to get the best treatment day and night.

Furthermore, the couple had to postpone their wedding and face the challenge of covering non-refundable deposits and wedding expenses while battling this terrible disease. Your generous contributions will not only help Joe's medical journey but also ease their financial worries during this critical time so they can focus on getting Joe better.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 in the next 30 days. Your contributions will make an enormous difference in Joe's fight against Sarcoma, allowing him to focus on his health and recovery without worrying about mounting medical bills and expenses.
