Emergency fundraiser for Bike4WesternSahara

Donation protected
Just a few days ago we were forced to leave Indonesia since the Moroccans sent the Indonesian secret police after us. Not only was it very stressful to have to escape but it also destroyed our budget. We had to pay 29000 SEK (2,842 USD) for just emergency flight tickets and emergency bike transport. In the process Benjamin’s bike also broke, which will cost around 20 000 SEK (1,960 USD) or more to replace.

Benjamin’s bike
”My beloved bicycle has finally reached its limit and broken down beyond repair.

After being forced to stop the campaign early in Indonesia we had to pack the bikes for our imminent return home and my bicycle finally gave up.

I have many dear memories of my bicycle. It took me 2000km through Sweden in order to raise 20.000USD for children in Gaza. It took me 500km through France to raise money for Saharawi refugees and Palestinian refugees and now it has taken me 15.000km+ through 18 countries to raise awareness about Western Sahara. Both me and my bicycle has been through so much trying to make the world a better place and its sad that it won't be able to continue the journey.

For me the journey continues but first I need a new bicycle”.

Help us get a new bike for Benjamin and let's do our best together to inform the world about Western Sahara, the last colony in Africa.

Our Campaign
Our campaign has been so effective that Morocco is now actively trying to stop us. Just in Indonesia we spoke at eight universities, did public events every day, when not biking 8 hours in the heat, and had 30+ articles published in the media.
In Japan we spoke to more than a thousand students across the country and published articles in all the cities on the 2000km we biked from south to north. Doing this awareness campaign for Western Sahara has been more successful than we initially thought it would be and we hope you will support us for the last part of it.

At the beginning of February we will go to Italy, Switzerland, France, Andorra, Spain, Portugal and Algeria. We will organize at the parliaments, at the UN, at the universities and in the streets.

Now we need your help to make the final part of the campaign possible.
