Emergency Fundraiser for Tanya Schroeder

Hello, my name is Chad Toms. I am helping Tanya and Cody Schroeder raise much-needed funds for an imperative electrical repair project. It is an immediate hazard to the family. Unfortunately, she does not have the funds available to get the work done and she reached out to me for help. She reached out to me to ask for help and said that she had nowhere else to turn.

Tanya Schroeder is a local Goodrich resident and a longtime Para-Pro for Reid Elementary; she has worked there for many years. She works with students that have cognitive disabilities and she is an asset to the community. In addition, she is the mother of Cody who has been diagnosed with Kyphoscoliosis and Epilepsy. Her medical bills are extensive and is struggling to make ends meet. My wife, Dawn Toms, worked with Tanya for many years, at Reid Elementary, and we’ve kept in touch with her and her son Cody.

Tanya helps others throughout the day and I am hopeful that we can help her with this project!

Tanya's home is in Goodrich, it is an old cabin that was built many years ago and it is in need of repair. The main wire outside wire is deteriorating and needs to be replaced, as well as, the inside electrical box. There is an extreme danger to her and her son Cody, if the work is not completed.

Please see the photos. We’ve identified a local electrician who has the ability to get the work done. He has inquired on a permit and has approval from Consumers Energy to move forward.

I hope that you all can help in some capacity. Every bit helps. Tanya is a wonderful person and could use some help.
