Emergency Funds for Bill & Dana Hebert
On Wednesday, July 14, there was a major storm in the West Sand Lake and Averill park areas. My parents, Bill and Dana—and their pets were deeply affected by flooding during this time.
Bill Hebert, who is a 100% disabled Navy Veteran, was home with his Operation Rescue Service dog, Luna, when the rains came through. Dana was at the store when she received word from Bill that their entire lot was flooding quickly.
Dana rushed home to see Bill and Luna in an emergency evacuation conducted by the West Sand Lake Fire Department. Everyone is safe.
Bill, Dana and pets have been staying with family until further notice. The house and land has experienced extreme damage. And like many in the area, they will not be receiving any help from insurance.
Please consider making a contribution in emergency efforts to help my parents get back on their feet as they need to make major repairs to their foundation and combat potential mold and or plumbing damage.
Thank you and God bless,
The Hebert family

A special shout out to the West Sand Lake Fire Department for rescuing Bill and Luna from the house during the flood. And for coming back to check on the house after the storm.
Thanks to all the emergency workers, first responders, and National Grid workers that are working to repair the damage and help keep residents safe....thank you.
