Emergency Funds for Jessica

Hello, I’m fundraising for my sister Jessica and her children. Unfortunately they have lost everything in the Maui fires. The fire ripped through their condo complex and everything was destroyed.

We are so happy that her and the kids are safe as well as their pup Moona who they rushed to evacuate but they only have the clothes on their backs right now.

We have been trying to get setup for FEMA and Red Cross relief but the sites have been overloaded. We are all feeling at a loss at to what Jess is going to do.

This is all incredibly cruel because Jessica lost her oldest son Tayvin at just 17 years old in December 2021. Life has been unthinkably hard for them all as they have had to learn how to live in this life without him.

Getting into the condo they lost is just all the more devastating. Jessica was on a waitlist for over a year to get into bc it was an affordable and new condo, a place for single parents like Jessica to make a home. When she got the news she was accepted it was a bright spot in the heartbreaking few years Jess and the kids have had.

They lost all of their physical keepsakes they had of Tayvin as well. It’s just too much for one family to go through. Please help if you can and keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this cruel twist of fate.

Funds raised will be used to buy the necessities such as clothes, toiletries and basic supplies. They are searching for any housing options at this point so the donations will help immensely with that as well.
