Emergency Healthcare for Queer Black Muslimah
Donation protected
Hi ya'll, I'm raising funds on behalf of my friend, who wishes to stay anonymous for safety reasons.
Here is their story.
Salaams!
This is a medical relief fund on behalf of Yaya, a Black Queer Muslimah from Somalia who is struggling with unemployment during this pandemic and currently experiencing a dental crisis that has caused her immense pain. She is in dire need of emergency dental care for three fillings, two root canal and similar work to be done while also being supported during a financially unstable period in her life. A story shared by many marginalized folks who are routinely without access to resources and aid.
Health care should not be seen as a privilege but as a right that everyone should have access to.
The funds raised will be put towards dental work and also a temporary means to survive while she finds employment during this unpredictable and terrifying chapter in her life.
By donating, you are ensuring the survival of a very important member of the Black community who deserves to be reminded that she is loved and supported
!Even if you are unable to support financially, consider sending good vibes and prayers while boosting this campaign too! I know we are all struggling but any little help goes a long way and is super appreciated it!
