Emergency Help for Aunt Sue

Im trying to raise funds to help my Aunt Sue and Nana. They are wonderful ladies who have always been too proud to ask anyone for help, but right now they need it.

Aunt Sue was life flighted to Boston, MA hospital over the weekend. At this point we don’t know what is wrong with her.

She had shoulder surgery at the beginning of May and then went downhill.

May 26th (her birthday) I picked her up and drove her to the Augusta, ME hospital because she was really confused and not at all herself. At this point they think she’s having seizures but no one knows why.

To know Aunt Sue is to love her. I’ve never met anyone who is as self-less as this lady. She never had a child of her own but raised 5 (myself included). She went without a lot of her own wants to give to “her kids” and family. She’s always been generous, probably to her own detriment.

My Nan and her have been together since 1981. Despite Aunt Sue working her butt off her entire life, they are not well off financially living on social security and retirement.

We don’t know how long Aunt Sue will be in Boston but she will want Nan to be there with her. They live in Maine so Boston is quite a travel for them.

Im trying to help raise funds for them for travel costs, lodging costs etc.

Im not in a position to help them financially so this is the best that I can do for them.

Anything helps, anything is appreciated.
