My name is Kaina Benyamina, and I'm living in France. This campaign is for the emergency temporary relocation of Ibrahim. Due to his geographical location and restrictions from GoFundMe, I am stepping in to help launch this campaign. All donations will go directly to Ibrahim. Please support them if you can, any amount, however small can help.

Below is a message from Ibrahim:

My name is Ibrahim, and I reside in Gaza, Palestine. I am 22 years old. I work as a translator. I recently completed my final year of college, and I couldn't have been happier to be able to start working either at a center for translation or perhaps starting my own freelance business. My future was lost. Right now, I'm not holding out hope for finding work. I was dreaming of a job, saving money in a bank like everyone else on the earth, getting my own car, finishing my master's degree, or maybe applying for a scholarship and taking off beyond Gaza like a hero to make my dead father and my family proud of me.

I'm currently looking for a scholarship in the UK, EU, or US. Sadly, I did not have my Certificate of Literature and Translation from the Islamic University of Gaza, even though I would really like to apply for one. I have to pay $3500, but I couldn't afford the fees to obtain it; therefore, this certificate was the reason why everything in my life halted! So, in order to obtain my certificate and submit a scholarship application, I need this money. Even after I graduated, my certificate remained unissued.

The war has destroyed my home in ruins, erasing all the cherished memories we had. My father is dead and we've been displaced over 13 times searching for safety place enduring immense hardship, including financial struggles, health issues, and the constant challenge of finding shelter, food, and medical care. My family and I 6 members, we are now in Deir al-Balah continue to bear the heavy burden of this war, and we have been displaced more than 13 times in Gaza City from one place to another, and in the 45 days, we have to go to the south searching for a safe place. We are going to Khanunis Hamad City, then to Alnysirat, then to Rafah, and now to Deir Al Balah, all of this just to escape and find a safe place."
We are trying to evacuate Gaza, but it's very costly, and we can't afford to pay, so we made a Go fund me link so it can help us to move to Egypt.

In Deir Al Balah, before a while when we fled of the tents due to a special Israeli forces storm the places of the refugee camps, and lunch a random fire. One of the random bullets was targeting me but hit with an iron pole of a tent behind me.

The events of the conflict were very difficult to comprehend. As we were planning our main dinner on Saturday, October 14, 2023, the Israeli army ordered us Palestinians living in the northern part of the Gaza Strip to relocate to the southern part of the Strip, leaving behind our homes, jobs, and aspirations. And we haven't gone back home since then. In the past, my friends and I would head straight to the sea anytime we were bored. I've been away from the sea and my friends for 180 days, sometimes with my friends and other times by myself!

We are living in a tent, facing shortages of food and clean water, and the constant fear of disease and airstrikes. It's a life that no one should have to bear, testing our resilience every day. We spend the entire day in the same tent, where we also eat, drink, pray, and sleep. People live in makeshift camps with nothing under them. They are merely dozing off on the floor, feeling damp and chilly, but their cries are louder than the rain outside. We are limited to bathing on the municipal day every ten days, rather than anytime we want to.

The modern world we live in is difficult to comprehend. Obtaining water is a difficult task. For instance, we must fill the water tank from the water station because we only have water in our tent once every ten days and we have to set for a queue for at least two hours. On other days, we must fill the buckets from the water station and walk for more than forty minutes at 5:30am to get to our daily use of water.

Please support me in rescuing my family and myself from the Gaza War. Having lost so many friends, neighbors, and family members, I am really worried that I may never see my family again. I haven't seen many of them in about seven months. Since October, we have experienced recurrent relocation. I have no idea when this will finish or when we'll go back home and resume our lives!
