My name is Kaina Benyamina, and I'm living in France. This campaign is for the emergency temporary relocation of Ibrahim. Due to his geographical location and restrictions from GoFundMe, I am stepping in to help launch this campaign. All donations will go directly to Ibrahim. Please support them if you can, any amount, however small can help.
Below is a message from Ibrahim:
My name is Ibrahim, and I reside in Gaza, Palestine. I am 23 years old. I work as a translator. I had completed my final year of college right before the genocide started and was hoping to start a job at a translation center or perhaps start my own freelance business.
Since October 7th my family and I have been displaced 14 times. Our home was bombed to ruins. My father died due to lack of medical treatment. We live in a tent, in the cold, with little access to food, water, and electricity. I am hoping to raise money so we can survive, move to Egypt, and start a safe future together. Everything is very expensive, from the daily necessities we need to survive, to the visas to cross the border to Egypt. I would also like to raise money to pursue a Masters degree and make my family and father proud of me.
This is a picture of my graduation from the Islamic University of Gaza in 2023.
I'm currently looking for a scholarship in the UK, EU, or US. Although I finished my Bachelors Degree and Certificate of Literature and Translation from the Islamic University of Gaza I wasn't able to pay the $3500 fee to obtain my official certificate. I need this certificate in order to submit scholarship applications. I will use part of the money for this certificate so that I can begin the process of building a life outside of Gaza.
This is a picture of our family home before and after it was bombed.
Our home is in complete ruins. My father is dead and we've been displaced over 14 times searching for safety while enduring immense hardship, including financial struggles, health issues, and the constant challenge of finding shelter, food, and medical care. Me and my family of 6 are now in Deir al-Balah continue and to bear the heavy burden of this war.
Please help my family evacuate Gaza and move to Egypt. It is very costly to leave, so we are kindly asking for your donations. We need money for visas, plane tickets, and accomodations in Egypt for the six of us. Just the visas and tickets cost about $45,000. I also need to pay the $3500 fee for my bachelors certificate to be able to continue my education. Including accommodations, it put the total goal at $55,000. Please help us evacuate, it is not safe here any longer. Every time we go outside searching for wifi or food our life is in danger. We already lost my father, please help the rest of us get out alive.
This is a picture of a bullet that was fired at me.
A few weeks ago In Deir Al Balah, we were forced to flee our tents when the special Israeli forces stormed the refugee camps. They were shooting bullets everywhere. One of the bullets was aimed at me, but by the grace of God, it missed and hit the iron pole of a tent behind me.
The events of the conflict were very difficult to comprehend. As we were planning our main dinner on Saturday, October 14, 2023, the Israeli army ordered us Palestinians living in the northern part of the Gaza Strip to relocate to the southern part of the Strip, leaving behind our homes, jobs, and aspirations. And we haven't gone back home since then. In the past, my friends and I would head straight to the sea anytime we were bored. I've been away from the sea and my friends for 180 days, sometimes with my friends and other times by myself!
We are living in a tent, facing shortages of food and clean water, and the constant fear of disease and airstrikes. It's a life that no one should have to bear. We spend the entire day in the same tent, where we also eat, drink, pray, and sleep. People live in makeshift camps with nothing under them. They are merely dozing off on the floor, feeling damp and chilly, but their cries are louder than the rain outside. We are limited to bathing on the municipal day every ten days, rather than anytime we want to.
The modern world we live in is difficult to comprehend. Obtaining water is a difficult task. For instance, we must fill the water tank from the water station because we only have water in our tent once every ten days and we have to set for a queue for at least two hours. On other days, we must fill the buckets from the water station and walk for more than forty minutes at 5:30am to get to our daily use of water.
Please support me in rescuing my family and myself from the Gaza War. Having lost so many friends, neighbors, and family members, I am really worried that I may never see my family again. I haven't seen many of them in about seven months. I have no idea when this will finish or when we'll go back home and resume our lives! For over a year we have been constantly relocating, searching for safety. Under constant bombardment, safety becomes relative. Please donate to my family to help us relocate to Egypt and start a life together.

Your donation, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference in our lives. It will provide us with shelter, access to essential healthcare services, and the means to rebuild. Your support during this profoundly challenging time will offer us hope amid despair.
