Please help my kids to live in peace, I am Majed jebril, 36 years old. From Gaza, I am married and a father of two kids, my daughter Bana is 9 and my son Abdelrahman is 6 years old, my family is my whole world. In this war I am so afraid to loose one of them. I have PhD degree in public health from one of the greatest universities in China, I used to work as an assistant professor in Gaza. My wife Basma has masters degree in architecture , Now my wife and I lost our works, and our cozy house. We spent all we have to protect our family during the war. We just need a chance to start a new life to rescue our family, my kids are suffering from depression nightmares, and anxiety.

We would never forget that day when we said goodbye to our house, took some photos to it, preparing to evacuate it to the southern area of the city, passing through the safe passage, each one of us holding a back bag my wife packed us containing a few pieces of cloth, and important papers we might need. even my daughter and son were holding their stuffs in their own bags. Walking for more than four hours, and our tears were running down all the way to destination. My son was crying that he is so tired and can’t walk anymore, I couldn’t hold him because I was raising my both hands up one of them holds my ID and the other one holds a white fabric referring to that we are civilians.

That’s just a day from the one hundred something days we are living in.

We ran away from fear to another place that is not less dangerous than the previous one, and now we are about to evacuate for the second time to another place. I still have hope that we will survive.
