Emergency Help Needed, Can’t Work Due to Accident

On December 5, two days before starting a new job, I was clearing leaves off of daughters trampoline. I jumped down two feet and landed flat footed on a root covered in leaves. I felt a burning sensation throughout my leg and looked down and my bone was pretending from leg and my leg was turned outward. I collapsed and the pain was horrifying. Thankful that EMT’s arrived quickly, but were unable to get a pulse in my right foot. They immediately called for life flight. I was flown from Big Sandy, TN to Nashville. They called in an amazing ortho team. The team worked quickly to reset my foot. Imaging would show my Tibia was completely broken , and Fibula was broke completely in three places. My foot was being held on by my muscle and tissue. I would go into surgery the next morning and they put in 2 metal plates, 13 pins, and a long rod holding my Fibula together. I was thankful to be discharged 4 days later. Since arriving home I have depleted my account to cover medical expenses, equipment needed, supplies needed for recovery, basic necessities and such. I have applied for food stamps, left messages with Northwest Economic Utility Assistance(have not received any call backs), and have started the process of applying for Social Security Disability. These programs take time and until I am approved and receive help I am left asking whatever I can to get by. I cannot drive since it is my right foot and I cannot have foot down but for limited amounts of time. I am in process of applying for work from home jobs. Hope and faith is what is keeping me going right now! I have copays for meds, basic living needs, utilities that have been delayed but coming due, and many medical visits that require copays. I cannot walk for two months and have 4-6 months of recovery and physical therapy after that. I am asking for any donations that you spare to help out right. This is exceptional hard for me to reach out and do. I am a very independent woman, but I have learned I need to let go of my pride and reach out and ask for help. I know it is the holidays and money is tight for so many. I am not able to buy Christmas this year, but trying to do something sentimental with what I have here for my kids. This was such an unexpected accident, for which I was not financially prepared for at all. I thank you all in advance for any donations you may be able to give.
