Dear friends and family,

Due to me having an emergency hysterectomy I am unable to work for the next four weeks. I tried to work with my employer to get future sick days donated to me like they have done in the past for other co-workers. I was denied because my surgery wasn't cancer related or a terminal illness and it was deemed not to meet their threshold/criteria. Due to going on short disability I am missing weeks of pay along with a reduction in my take home pay. Please find it in your heart to help cover my outside medical and living expenses for the month that I am recovering.
