Emergency & Indigent Patient Fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is John. Twenty five years ago my wife, Dr. Sumerlin and I opened The Cat Hospital of Orlando. Many of you have remained clients here for nearly that long and we want to thank you.
Although Dr. Sumerlin is no longer able to practice veterinary medicine, our current doctors and staff continue her legacy of quality, compassionate feline veterinary care.
Each year more than 50 cats are brought to us for emergency treatment and veterinary care because they were abandoned, injured or their owner could no longer pay for veterinary expenses. Today it was a kitten that was caught in a generator and rescued by a passerby.
We would like to continue to help all of these cats but our resources are limited. Depending on the injury or illness, veterinary hospital expenses can add up to hundreds of dollars per patient. We do not want any client to be placed in a situation where they are forced to make a life or death decision based on their financial situation. Many companion animals are euthanized each year because their owners cannot afford to provide care for them.
In 2017, we would like to ensure that every cat that is brought through our door, receives the best veterinary care we can provide and leaves us healthy, with a forever home.
Please help us by donating now. 100% of every dollar we receive, goes to pay for veterinary expenses for cats that are brought to us by people who care.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion and concern for our feline companions.
