Support The Cubes Emergency Living Facilities
Donation protected
Hello there, My name is Caleb Nicholson. I'm here to raise funds to purchase a building and land for use as an Emergency Living Facility. A place where those in need can come and have a safe place to stay, good meal and a hot shower.
This will be used for the homeless, veterans, widows, orphans, people kicked out while going through a divorce, people whose family kicks them out after graduation, people who can't seem to make ends meet at the moment thus finding themselves in need of a place to stay. Etc.
All those admitted will get 3 nights stay for free. Some times you just need a few days and a helping hand to get things in order. If a little more time is needed they can stay for a week for $100. If 2 weeks are needed it will be $200 for 2 weeks. Some times a stay of a month or longer is needed, such as when someone's home is destroyed by a tornado, flood, or other natural disaster, then the fee will be $200 a month for the stay. The fees are to help cover the bills, electric, water, gas, food and minimal staffing.
Living accomodations will be, a 4' tall by 4' wide by 8' long cube with an XL-Twin sized mattress, pillow, sheets and blanket provided. There will be one light and one electric receptacle in each cube. You will only be allowed minimal possessions to be brought in with you as there will be no room to store them except in your cube with you. We want people to be comfortable but at the same time willing to make efforts to return to normal living conditions. Separate women's and men's sleeping, showering and bathroom facilities. Special accommodations will be made for families with kids.
2 or 3 meals a day will be provided for those staying. Don't think fancy, but good food.
