My uncle Michael Nolley was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the esophagus, abdomen, and spine in mid March. Do to the rapid progression of the cancer he was not a candidate for a feeding tube and as of this week is now on hospice. His condition is declining rapidly yet he continues to worry how we will take care of the expenses to come of his medical and burial expenses.
If you have ever met Mike you know that he has never been married or had children but his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews are his heart and soul. He has served many roles in his lifetime but been an uncle was one he takes serious and is proud of. He told me just a couple of days ago when we were talking that the thing he is most thankful for is the family that he was born into. The love and bond that he shares with not only immediate family but all of his extended family and friends.
Times are tough for everyone. If you are not in a position to help financially, Lifting us up in your prayers and sharing means more to us than you could ever imagine. I have assured him not to worry that I have this handled and that’s what I’m going to do.
