Emergency Medical and Living Support Needed
Donation protected
Dear friends, kind strangers, and anyone with a generous heart,
A few days ago, a routine skateboarding ride to work took a dreadful turn when I encountered a hazardous hole in the asphalt. My skateboard got trapped, and I was sent flying, resulting in a severe injury. Upon reaching the Emergency Room at Carl Hospital, I was diagnosed with a broken arm in three pieces, requiring immediate surgery. After undergoing anesthesia and the subsequent procedure, I am preparing for my release from the hospital.
My name is Artin Aria, and I’m a dedicated Biotechnology student at the University of Houston. Having lived in Urbana from 2012-2015, I returned to this city with aspirations of securing internships in my field. However, life took an unexpected route, and I found myself working jobs unrelated to my profession.
Being student, without any family and support and alone in the US, this unforeseen medical emergency has put a massive strain on my financial situation. I am now faced with the daunting challenge of covering my rent, food, and medications for at least the next three months, as my doctor’s recommendation of a minimum eight weeks recovery period.
With a humble heart, I’m reaching out for your assistance during this challenging phase in my life. If you could support me in any way or even share my story, it would mean the world to me.
As a token of gratitude, once I graduate and secure a stable job, I pledge to donate an equal amount of your contribution to organizations like UNICEF or other deserving charities.
Every bit of help will inch me closer to recovery, both physically and financially. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering lending a helping hand.
Warm regards,
Artin Aria
