Emergency medical bills for accident

In a tragic accident trooper was crushed by an 800 lb bale of hay resulting in severe internal chest bleeding, heart trauma and a potential fractured vertebra.

The veterinary team has determined that immediate care is crucial for his survival. The estimated cost for the medical procedure is $16,000 with 6K upfront. 

Trooper is still being closely monitored for the fluid in his chest, he’s had 3 chest taps so far. The vet said considering the extent of his injuries he is doing well, and was able to go outside today (with assistance). However, he is unable to empty his bladder so the vet is having to manually express it, and he is still not taking any food at the moment. In addition they are keeping him on oxygen to steady his breathing, which has been irregular. They are continuing to ween him off of the heart regulating medications, and though he is not out of the woods, we are remaining hopeful with his progress!”

anyone that knows me knows how much Trooper means to me and how special he truly is. I don’t go anywhere without him.
