Emergency Medical Fund for Bryan Carr

This fundraiser was created on behalf of Bryan and the Carr family.

Over the last several days Bryan became ill and quickly declined over the course of 48 hours. After being up all night vomiting and in increasingly worsening and severe pain on February the 19th, Bryan and his fiancé, Melissa, decided to go to Urgent Care. After arriving at MedExpress Urgent Care in Tulsa, the staff, worried Bryan was on the brink of an emergency medical situation, made the decision to call an ambulance. That decision to seek help immediately is what saved Bryan’s life.   

While they are still running diagnostics, Bryan is currently in ICU with what is believed to be pancreatitis. The team of doctors at St. Francis Hospital are concerned the extended dehydration Bryan experienced may have caused damage to his kidneys, which they are monitoring and treating. It is also possible he will require surgery in the coming days.

While there is so much unknown with this current situation, we will work to to continue to provide updates. Bryan’s family is currently rushing to be with him, and we are all hoping for only good news moving forward.

Bryan is a wonderful, giving, caring person and like so many others, 2020 was full of hard knocks. Bryan faced every hurdle with grace and strength. Despite so much unknown, Bryan and Melissa’s relationship continued to blossom with the two recently celebrating their engagement. They are excited and looking forward to building a life together.

Asking for help isn't easy, but Bryan and Melissa need it at this time. Even with gainful employment, Bryan is still in the first 90 days of his new job and the insurance hasn’t taken effect yet. The cost of Bryan’s current care is overwhelming. If you are able to support in any capacity in their time of need it would be greatly appreciated.
