Emergency medical funds for Jojo

I don’t even know where to begin as I’m still trying to wrap my head around all of this. I came home from a work trip yesterday to find my senior dog Jojo lethargic and bleeding from her nose. Her appetite had decreased while I was gone and she just seemed so weak as soon as I returned. I raced her to the ER where they immediately took her to the back to begin stabilizing her. She was put on oxygen and fluids where the doctors raced to started running all the tests needed to determine what was causing the bleeding and lack of oxygen. I never ask for help but right now, I don’t know what else to do. I’m worried and scared while my heart is breaking for little Jojo as she sits in the ER for an unknown amount of time.

Jojo has been with me for so long now and I’m the only family that she knows. She has been through so much loss already as a rescue dog and this can’t be how it ends for her. Her original owner passed away due to an unexpected illness and that’s how she came to be with me. It’s just not right to now watch her suffer and be so helpless. She has lived a very long life with no known medical problems so this has come out of nowhere and both completely unexpected & extremely unprepared for. I will do whatever I can to see her through this.

I have spent the last few years of my life volunteering in dog rescue to save as many dogs as I can. Unfortunately, now I have to ask for help to save one that is near and dear to me. Jojo didn’t qualify for health insurance due to her age and believe me, that would have been great to have now. Jojo’s medical bills are climbing and her bill now is estimated to be between $3,600 and $9,000. I have included the estimate below in the pictures. Jojo is the sweetest old lady you will ever meet.

Please say a little prayer for her today and I know she can hear it. I truly want her to continue to live out her golden years with all of the extra life she still has left. Any help is greatly appreciated. If for any reason there are extra funds, they will be donated directly to the rescue I volunteer with to help save more dogs in addition to Jojo.
