Emergency Move - Life-Threatening Living Conditions!

This is a life or death situation. My friend Nii lives in an extremely dangerous part of Brazil, where the region is under the control of a dangerous group, and has been forced to switch over to their services, such as internet and electricity.

Apart from this being intrusive, failing to comply to their demands leaves the residents in serious threat of being beaten to near death or even shot. Gunshots can be heard around the complex every day. Calling the police is not an option either, due to their fear of being attacked for doing so. People living in the region have had no choice but to either comply or to move out, however Nii doesn't have the funds necessary to do the latter.

We need help to get him enough money to move out, any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. Help us get him and his family a new, safer place to live.
