Emergency need for Mother and son

I have raised money for many individuals in need and charities.

My niece Heather and her son Larry Joe are really in need.

Heather was in a very intimidating marriage for many years. She has finally become free from her husband, because he was cheating on her for months before ultimately leaving her for another woman.

He left, but in leaving stuck her with many bills unpaid and to raise a 15 yr old son all on her own. He stopped helping to pay the bills, and she is having to do it all.

Her mortgage and utilities are behind. Her tips were also reduced to little to none at work due to the economy, and putting food on the table has even been tough.

She is finally free of his intimidation and control, but she's been left with a pile of bills, her home, and she and her 15 yr old son must now try to manage on their own. She isn't even thinking of Christmas and gifts, but just happy to be free from his intimidation and now just trying to survive.

Thank you for your gift. Tears, stress and holiday blues don't begin to describe the pain of a mother unable to give her only son a good Christmas, or even keep the heat and lights on.
