EMERGENCY PARVO CARE FOR ABANDONED PUPPIES

Tax deductible

This is our Christmas Clan that were recently brought in and unknowingly came down with Parvo a day or 2 after being in our care. These 8-10 week old Lab mix pups were found under an abandoned house in Laurens County, SC after the mother had not been seen in days by locals.

Six of the seven puppies have Parvo and have already had to have veterinarian care to help beat this life-threatening virus.  Jingle, Jangle, Noel, Belle, Kringle, Rudy, Dickens.

So far Jingle, Jangle, Noel, Belle, Kringle, & Rudy are all positive for Parvo and are being supervised and cared for by the veterinarian. Currently Dickens is the last to show symptoms but being watched closely.

Laurens County Humane Society is a 501 C3  non-profit organization that is NOT funded by the government or national organizations. As a small non-profit that relies solely on public donations to stay open, the fear of running out of money always weighs heavily on our minds and our hearts.
Jingle

Due to the piling medical bills, and already low funds available, this is hitting Laurens County Humane Society very hard at a time when keeping the doors open seems impossible.
Belle

Laurens County Humane Society is the only no-kill adoption center, the only one of its kind in Laurens County, SC which is 724 square miles, that is a lot of mileage for one no-kill adoption center.
Dickens

Please know that the money you donate isn’t spent on “little extras” or stock piled into a giant savings account. Your donations go directly to the care of our rescued animals and to the operation of our no-kill adoption center.

Every dollar raised represents pet food, veterinary care, cleaning supplies, bleach, laundry detergent, etc that we can use to treat the puppies. It means we can pay our vet bills and afford to keep our lights on and water running.
Noel

Your generosity is what allows us to continue to save the lives of unwanted and homeless pets each and every day. We are SO grateful to everyone and anyone who can spare a little extra to help save these puppies lives.

Puppies before Parvo set in, happily playing

Will provide regular updates and please pray for us that all puppies survive this horrible virus.
