Emergency relocation costs

Hi friends,

My name is Kristina, and as you know, I am a researcher in police violence, organized crime, and weapon trafficking. My focus is and will always be on women.

My work has been featured in many peer-reviewed journals, I write my own column "Women in Dark Times: Feminist Perspectives on Violence, Security, and Organized Crime" at openDemocracy, and I am a regular guest in panels and TV programs. Most of my work has been funded through academic scholarships. Yet, most of my political and journalistic work, I do for free.

Throughout the last months, I have received threats and physical attacks, in more than one country.

I will not go into detail here.

For my own safety and protection, I need to relocate again.

Therefore, I need your financial help - in order to be able to pay for my relocation and basic expenditures during the first weeks at my new location.

As I believe I said before, I work for the public, under great personal risk, and I believe I did my fair share of risky work for the world and deserve a little bit of support.
