Emergency Relief for Displaced Tigray Refugees

On November 4th 2020, the Federal Government of Ethiopia declared war on the Regional State of Tigray. The region has been cut from the world, with NO access to network, NO communication access, NO resources or humanitarian aid and NO access to their own money for over a month. The atrocities and the inhumane acts the people of Tigray have faced will have detrimental impacts, and this has already been seen with the displacement of Tegarus within the state and also fleeing to Sudan.

Since the start of the war, Sudan has seen over 40000 Tegaru seek refuge in their country with this number growing by thousands daily. These individuals are mostly women and children who were forced to leave their families, homes and belongings.


This camp usually accommodates for 5,000 refugees but the UN agency has been forced to respond to these individuals as there is great concern for their well-being.


We really need your help. Any donation would be really appreciated as this influx of refugees has been too much for Sudan refugees camps to handle. This money will be used to support the camps in purchasing supplies such as food, medical aid, feminine hygiene products and clothing.
