Emergency Relief for Eaton Fire Survivors
Donation protected
My name is Sam James and I am from Altadena, CA where countless friends and family lost their homes in the last few days, including my grandpa's house (pictured).
The devastating Eaton Fire that swept through Altadena and Pasadena has left countless Black and Latino families and individuals without basic necessities including my own. As our community begins to recover, we are coming together to provide immediate relief directly to those most affected.
With your support, we aim to create and distribute hygiene kits, clean water, masks, work gloves, and other essentials to help fire survivors stay safe, clean, and warm while they rebuild their lives.
How Your Donations Will Help
Every dollar raised will go directly towards purchasing and distributing these essential supplies, and any remaining money will be donated to nonprofits supporting the rebuild:
- Water and Water Purification Tablets: Drinking tap water is currently very dangerous. We are providing clean drinking water and purification tablets to community members.
- Hygiene Kits: Includes soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, diapers, and hand sanitizer to maintain cleanliness and health.
- Masks and Work Gloves: Protect against smoke and debris during clean up efforts.
Every $10 donated can provide essential supplies to 2-3 individuals. This is a time for our community to come together and show the strength of our unity. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference in someone’s life today.
Please donate and share this fundraiser with your network to help us spread the word. Together, we can bring relief and hope to those who need it most. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time.
