UPDATE #2

ON JANUARY 26, 2024 MY FAMILY RECEIVED WHAT WE HAVE RAISED SO FAR. IT HAS BECOME VERY CLEAR THAT THIS ATROCITY WILL GO ON FOR SOME TIME AND THEY HAVE DECIDED TO USE THE MONEY TO BUILD LARGER TENTS FOR NOT ONLY THEMSELVES BUT OTHER FAMILIES AT THE CAMP. THEY ARE WORKING ON BUILDING MULTIPLE BATHROOMS SO THAT THE PEOPLE IN THE CAMP CAN LIVE WITH SOME DIGNITY. INSIDE THE CAMP THERE Zi MULTIPLE PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEY ARE WORKING TO TRY AND HELP PROVIDE THEM WITH THEIR NEEDS AND FOOD.

WE HAVE DECIDED TO RAISE THE GOAL TO $5,000.00 TO HELP CONTINUE TO SUPPORT NOT ONLY MY FAMILY BUT OTHERS IN THE CAMP. THE CAMP STILL NEEDS WATER TANKS, CLOTHES FOR THE CHILDREN AND KITCHEN TOOLS.

UPDATE# 1:

ON DECEMBER 3 MY FAMILY WAS FORCED TO EVACUATE THEIR HOME IN KHAN YUNIS AFTER RECEIVING A FLYER FROM THE IDF INSTRUCTING THEM TO LEAVE AND THAT THE AREA WOULD BE BOMBED.

THEY ARE NOW DISPLACED LIVING IN TENTS IN RAFAH. THEY HAVE LOST EVERYTHING. AS OF NOW THERE IS NO WAY TO RECEIVE THE MONEY, SO WE WILL CONTINUE TO TRY TO REACH OUR GOAL IN THE MEANTIME, AS THEIR SITUATION IS NOW MORE DIRE THAN EVER.

I am raising money on behalf of family friends that are living in Khan Yunis, Palestine. My sister has known the entire El Farra family for over a decade and desperately wants to help them. When the war broke out, they all convened to the family home to be together. There are currently 26 family members in the house together as bombs are going off all over. Thankfully their home has only suffered structural and window damage so far but the situation is unknown everyday.

The main caretaker of the family is a business owner and his wife is a doctor but since the war started, they have not been able to work. They lost their home in Gaza City due to bombing The family is in dire need of assistance for food and personal care. There are 9 children and one of the women is pregnant.

Until recently, we could not get money into Gaza due to bombing of wire transfer locations, but they are now able to receive it. The pictures below are taken from their windows.
