Ee are a group of Venezuelans living in Australia, coming together to raise urgent funds for the people of Venezuela affected by the devastating earthquake.

My name is Isabella Plaza. I am a Venezuelan living in Sydney, Australia, where I have been based for the past 10 years. I have spent most of my life working in storytelling and supporting non-profit organizations, helping raise awareness and funds for communities in need. Within this group, I am helping coordinate and lead the fundraising efforts, using my experience in storytelling and social impact to help bring support to this crisis.

I am originally from Venezuela and currently live in Sydney, Australia. Venezuela is my home and will always remain deeply connected to who I am.

3. Your relationship to the parties you’re raising funds for

We are Venezuelans, but first and foremost, we are human beings—no matter where we come from.

This crisis is deeply personal to me. I have close friends and family in Venezuela who are directly affected by the devastating earthquake. Many communities are in urgent need, and in several areas, families and local responders are still digging through rubble with their bare hands trying to find survivors. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and emergency resources are limited.

From Sydney, I am doing everything I can to help support urgent relief efforts through trusted humanitarian partners.

4. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible)

All funds raised will go directly to Venezuela Sin Límites, a long-established non-profit organization that works with vetted local NGOs to deliver humanitarian aid in Venezuela.

Funds will be used for urgent emergency response, including:

* Food and clean water distribution

* Medical supplies and hospital support for the injured and vulnerable

* Emergency shelter and essential relief items for displaced families

* Rescue and emergency coordination efforts in affected areas

* Critical care and protection for children who have lost their families or are alone in hospitals

We are especially focused on ensuring that children without family support are not left alone during this crisis, and receive immediate safety, care, and protection.
