Emergency relief needed to get out of the cold

My name is Kate and with permission, I am funding on behalf of Sarah Schmidt. I strongly believe in helping good people out in times of need and this is a HUGE time of need in Sarah's life. The winter months are upon us and Sarah is living out of her car, due to disability and It is COLD out there.

About Sarah:

"My name is Sarah, I am from Cape Cod, living now in NH without a place of residence. I am a graphic designer and a photographer with many years of experience. I injured my back several years ago, and in August of 2022, I applied for disability insurance and then got denied twice from social security disability because according to 'their' doctor, I could work. But the 12 potential employers that I applied to would not hire me due to my disability. I think it's safe to say I can not work. I have a hearing about my disability in January, but in the meantime I have expenses and am living in my car. "

Because of this delay in her disability hearing, Sarah truly needs help to tide her over until she can get her disability in January.

In the short time I have known her, she is a selfless person who is always trying to make the best of a situation in the worst of times. Some of you may know her and would like to help out, others may not know her at all but will find it in your heart to donate. Every little bit will help her get a leg up to give her what she needs to get out the situation she is in. Your donations could help her with some of her expenses, food and help her find a warm place to sleep at night. True testament of her character reflects here when she said to me, (while giving me permission to help with this emergency situation), that what ever money she does not use, she would like to donate to Nauset Highschool Scholarships on her behalf.
