Emergency relocation of LGBT activists in Turkey

Hi, my name is Emily, and I am a Senior Gender Specialist with CARE, a global humanitarian organization. Through my work, I have been working closely with a local group that works with LGBT Syrian activists within Turkey, who receive daily death threats for their activism. This organization was directly hit by the earthquake, with several members and their families needing immediate relocation due to their increased vulnerability, and one member still missing. I am personally raising funds on behalf of these incredible activists who are facing the unthinkable, while I also tap into CARE's ongoing relief efforts to get them temporary help until they can be relocated.
