Emergency Room and Dental Bills Assistance

Donation protected
In June 2021, I suffered my first medical bout, a severe staph infection, which formed a carbuncle (multiple abscesses in the same area). This infection eventually led me to the Emergency Room for the first time in my life. I was uninsured and had never experienced this before. I did not understand how much it would cost me financially. I received the doctor's bill a month later for 1000 dollars and thought it was over. But not until months later when I finally received the hospital bill for 3300 dollars.
At that point, I had already gone back to the emergency room multiple times for more abscesses that would form, chest pain, bad reactions to potent antibiotics, and much more. I feel I was not given the proper care by JFK Medical Center and was misled about the side effects of antibiotics such as Bactrim, Keflex, Clindamycin, Doxycycline and more. Not once did they ever do anything for my anxiety, yet when I went to Urgent Care, they helped me tremendously and eventually helped guide me along the right track to a psychiatrist. Some of these side effects were high blood pressure and anxiety, which led me back to the ER multiple times to spend even more money. At that point, I had insurance due to the American Rescue Care Act, but the government decided the Pandemic was over on December 31st, 2021. I never saw another doctor again after that. I decided to pursue psychiatric help to help with my anxiety and nerve pain from the chest abscess, which has permanently damaged the nerves in my chest, throat and ears, including another abscess that formed on my gums behind tooth #31. The abscess on my gums is still there

I was told by many people this tooth may have been the cause of all my abscesses, so I decided to see a Dentist. At the same time, dealing with being on antidepressants, anti-anxiety, and anti-psychotic medications for the first time in my life and having to wean off them was pure hell. Because of this, I didn't see my dentist much until July 2022.
Fast forward to now, I was referred to an oral surgeon to finally schedule the tooth extraction and removal of the abscess behind it. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing chest pains and lung pains after my general dentist decided to fiddle with the abcess, which may have caused the infection to spread. Regardless, I knew it was time to see a surgeon.
I expected the tooth removal price with my insurance to be 250 dollars, only to be handed the treatment plan and see a bill of 1660 dollars. I asked why it was so much, and they said my insurance doesn't cover specialists, only general dentistry.
I have been holding off on starting this go fund me for a while, but after this latest dental bill, I have no choice but to ask for your help. All the money I saved is now gone, because of the ridiculous healthcare system in this country.
I have kept my health issues private, but I want to see them resolved. I want to go back to living everyday life and doing the things that I loved. I also like to be able to see a doctor for my current chest pains in case there is something else wrong.
I'm asking for all your help. Please help me finally overcome this horrible year and a half of physical and mental anguish. A person who was perfectly healthy, who did not know how healthcare worked beforehand. A person who has lost everything he has worked for, without asking for help until now. I believe some people care about me and want to help, to see me recover, and even see them again.
Thanks for your time and patience in reading this story. If you were wondering where I've been the past two years, now you know.
