Emergency Shelter for Children & Ederly of Beirut
Donation protected
Hello my Family and Friends,
How would you feel if your contribution saved a child's life or kept them from starvation and homelessness?
An explosion occurred in our beloved Beirut on August 4th, 2020. So far 300,000 people have been displaced from their homes and search and rescue teams are still searching for missing people and working around the clock to help families find food and shelter.
This disaster has struck close to home for all of the Lebanese people who lived during the Lebanese Civil War and were affected by the horrors that occurred. This emergency is bringing up a lot of pain and opening our hearts to step in and help as much as we can.
As you may know, at 12 years old, I survived through the 1975 Lebanese Civil War. A bomb struck our living room and took the life of my brother, right before my eyes and we were forced to become homeless.
I know what the fear feels like that Lebanese children are experiencing right now without shelter. I plea with you to help give hope, food, and shelter to a child who may have lost their family or their family has lost the means to provide a safe home any longer.
For me, I cannot sit back as our families and loved ones suffer as if no one is there to offer help.
The COVID-19 pandemic has put more pressure on Lebanon's economy, as the country relies heavily on tourism, and the medical sector has sustained one of the greatest hits. Certain medical supplies and medications are limited and now food and shelter are in great demand during this crisis, too.
AGAIN, I PLEA WITH YOU, TO HELP THE CHILDREN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!
Join us in helping Beirut through this tragedy by donating today. No amount is too small, even if it's as little as $1, $5, $15, every dollar makes a difference. If you're not able to make a financial donation right now, please send your prayers, they are greatly appreciated.
All of the money raised and the specific organizations that receive the donations will be displayed publicly and updated as we progress on my website at EmpoweringHumanityTV.com
I would greatly appreciate your help sharing this with friends and family. Let's give these children shelter, hope, and let them know they are not alone in these difficult times.
May God Bless You,
Aimmee Kodachian
UPDATE 8/13:
We've updated pictures on the tragedy in Beirut and how our support is helping, directly from the organization we're working with in Lebanon run by Gaby and TaTi Khawam, who I trust with my life.
We also uploaded a list of names of the children in Beirut who will be supported with the funding we have received over the next week.
We will be receiving receipts from how they are spending the money and we will be displaying it on this page and let you know where your money is going.
Be sure to look for updates from us over the coming days where we will be updating you on how we're bringing emergency relief to those in need in Beirut.
Please continue your prayers and share this with others. Thank you.
